This is the T3 by Associated Electrics. The T3 is a two wheel drive electric stadium truck. I bought it ready to run but have already put some cash into a few little hop ups. It now has bearings as well as shock spring kits for the front and rear shocks. Other then that this car is still stock. I like it, but a lot of people say the Losi equivalent is better. I think it boils down to brand loyalty or parts availability. The two shops I go to both have more of the AE parts. Up to this point its been in only one serious miss hap. I was out driving shortly after a rainstorm and didn't see a large puddle until the truck was on top of it. I made the mistake of trying to stop and killing my momentum at the last moment. Needless to say the car went to a dead stop in a three inch deep puddle. After drying it out and letting the electronics sit for a couple of days it worked like a charm.
This is a spunky little truck. While I don't have a reliable speed, my estimate is about fifteen MPH with very fast acceleration and great stability. It can handle the impacts from jumping. I have been very happy with this trucks performance and durability and would recomend it to anyone. |

The T-maxx is my newest truck. This is a big, fast, and powerful RC! The T-Maxx is a four wheel drive nitro monster truck. It is my first nitro RC and I already love it. As time goes on we'll see just how well it works out. The truck has been modified a good bit, through repairs and upgrades it is a good bit sturdier then stock.
This is a fast monster. I'm certain it's already hitting the thirties it is so fast. Whether it's in the grass, on the street, or in some mud it flies. This picture you see here shows the new A-arms too. |

The TC3 is a four wheel drive touring car made my Associated Electrics. It is a blast to drive on the open street or a track. In stock form it just edges out in top speed over a T3. This car corners incredibly well! I've been able to do some nice slides and such. It cannot handle anything other then nice flat ground, but it is fantastic on it. The best part about touring cars, they can turn right. :) hehe
So far it's just stock, but I plan on getting a much faster motor for it. |

Mini-Zs are a step above the Zip-Zaps. They are only about six inches long and are a fully featured RC car with proportional controls. They are surprising fast and can be upgraded almost as extensively as their larger brethren. These little guys can get fancy motors and speed controls that allow them to go almost as fast as many touring cars can go. I got this just for running around the living room when the weather is bad. It gets great run time, about 40 to 60 minutes on a set of four AAAs. |

One of many brands of micro RC cars, the Zip-Zap is a good value compared to most. It is about 2 inches long and uses a built in battery to give you about 2 to 4 minutes of run time per 45 second charge. These are not proportional control, but they are small enough to run on the dining room table or a good computer desk. These little things are evil. If I had I never read about them I wouldn't have gotten into this hobby to begin with. After I picked up one of these I just had to get a real RC car. Now, I have no idea where this hobby will take me. They are great for younger children that want to try what the adults are playing with but just aren't ready to try the larger more costly cars. |
